Connected to server but can't put files - HELP!

I installed
jakarta-slide-2.0-tomcat-5.0.19(bin release) on Win XP Pro

I built
jakarta-slide-webdavclient-src-2.0 - OK! 

tomcat is running fine which means no errors accessing
http://localhost:8080/slide

I set up a network resource - OK!

I start the webdav client and try to 'put' a file to the server: 

Here is the log:

[ Slide ] $ connect http://localhost:8080/slide/files connect
http://localhost:8080/slide/files log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for
logger (org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpClient).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
[ZEUS] /slide/files/ $ put test.txt /
put test.txt /
Uploading  'test.txt' to '/': succeeded.
[ZEUS] /slide/files/ $


Although I get the warnings because of the logger configuration (besides,
how do I configure it correctly?) this looks pretty good. 

... but just nothing happens. The file doesn't get transferred to the
server. 

At first I had authorization on and switched it off because I thought this
was the problem but nothing changed.

I looked through the config files but didn't find anything that seemed
responsible for this. 

Please can anyone help me with this, I don't know what to do anymore.

this may be because your log4j.proeprties file was not in the classpath
