I took a look at the 1.7 branch and noticed some PRs were missing for MXNet Extensions including fixes and enhancements for custom ops (sparse, RNG, subgraph) and custom subgraph properties. I created a PR to backport these PRs: https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/pull/18063 and updated the wiki page: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/MXNET/1.7.0+Release+Plan+and+Status. All PRs have already been merged on master branch, and I expect the backport PR to succeed sometime today.

Hi Prezmek and all,
Sure, no problem. I saw there're some more PRs would like to be included in v1.7.0 release and doing backport to v1.x branch recently.
So I propose to postpone the code rebase for a week (April 17th), assume most of the backport PR will be available on v1.x branch at that time.
Feel free to add any other comments.

I added GPU vectorization of elementwise ops to the 1.7 scope, but will need a small extension - the PR should be ready to merge to master and cherry-picked to 1.7 early next week.
