Additional info, possibly helpful:
I too am having the corrupted-display problem (without crashing) with Impress
3.4.1 on my WinXP 32-bit with 2560x1600 display and NVIDIA GT 9600 graphics
card. I selected Slide Show, Slide Show Settings, Type, "Window", and then
started my slideshow. As I vary the Impress window size, the corruption occurs
when the client area is 2047 pixels wide or greater (as reported by Winspector
Spy). 2046 or less looks fine. Height doesn't seem to matter.
