Can i access session or request object from a bean which is Actionform variable

Hi 

I have a nested bean in my ActionForm.
Is there any way to access the session object or HttpRequest from that nestedbean.

class MyActionForm extends ActionForm{

private Tree  myTree;
}

class Tree{

             I would like to access session or http request from this bean????

}
