[users@httpd] Compiling Apache 1.3.27 with DSO support on SuSE 8.0

Hello,

I am trying to compile Apache 1.3.27 with DSO support on SuSE 8.0.  I have 
issued the commands

./configure ----enable-rule=SHARED_CORE
make
make install

Now when I do an /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -l mod_so.c is not listed.  
Can someone please 
help?
