[jira] [Created] (HCATALOG-32) Hcatalog client doesn't read the hcat-site.xml config file

Hcatalog client doesn't read the hcat-site.xml config file
----------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: HCATALOG-32
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HCATALOG-32
             Project: HCatalog
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 0.1
            Reporter: Alan Gates
             Fix For: 0.2

Even when the hcat-site.xml file is placed in the classpath the HCatalog client doesn't read it. For now the shell script works around this by reading the values it needs directly from hcat-client.xml and setting them in environment variables.
