Merging some files

Hi,

im not sure if this is possible, but i have the problem to have some
files like:
trunk/file1
trunk/file2
trunk/file3
trunk/file4

now i see, that it doesn't make sense to keep the file sepereted.
So i want to merge all the files to one big file like
trunk/bigfile

I want to keep the history of every file.
Is it possible to merge the files to one big file and keep the history
(or better include all histories of every file into the history of the
file trunk/bigfile)?
