i'm really sorry to have to do this but...

having taken a quick look into the background, i feel i have to use
binding vetos (legal and ipmc) on all public variations of this proposal
and take all further discussion onto the appropriate private lists.

please note that:

1. i would prefer people not to contact me privately but use the
appropriate lists
2. i will copy any private correspondence to board and legal-private so
that the foundation has a complete picture
3. i will not read further correspondence on public lists (and will
unsubscribe once this post has landed) until a resolution has been found

i recommend that development is suspended until this matter is resolved.
hopefully that won't take long. it may have even been resolved already.
the -1 means that i commit to work actively on a resolution until the
big guns step up and save me...

Could you confirm that you intend to take charge and work on this
actively to bring it to closure as soon as possible?

You jumping in and derailing the ongoing vote is not fun at all for
the ESME community who's been struggling to fix this issue for at
least two weeks now, so I would appreciate a swift resolution, not
just derailing the vote without following up quickly.
