modules in binary distribution.

Okay, +1 here as well - the danger of having a crippled server (in the 
eyes of people expecting those "way cool new apache features") is 
probably greater than the danger that something in the experimental set 
will break.

As to mod_auth_dbm vs. mod_auth - they're not mutually exclusive, are 
they?  At least I don't remember ever having to comment out the mod_auth 
module when I've compiled in dbm, the same way I do have to comment out 
mod_log_common.
