DropdownDatePicker strange behaviour

Hi,

I am experiencing problems when using the Tapestry DropdownDatePicker
component:
If I change the Locale setting in my browser to use one of the following
locale: Russian, Polish, Bulgarian - when I submit the enclosing form:
an error message is displayed by the component saying that the date
format is not correct (But it is correct - displayed always in English
Language not in the chosen Locale as expected)

I suspect that the problem is related with the character set used:
DropdownDatePicker component doesn't know how to parse data for the
specified locations.

When I use the former DatePicker component there is no problem: Data is
displayed in Russian language for instance and no validation error is
thrown.

Is this a known problem?

Please advice

Thanks a lot - Mircea Carasel
