difference 3.2.1, 3.2.2-SNAPSHOT, 3.3-SNAPSHOT

Hi,

Could you tell me what is difference
between ServiceMix 3.2.1(*1), 3.2.2-SNAPSHOT(*2) and 3.3-SNAPSHOT(*3) ?

(*1) I downloaded apache-servicemix-3.2.1.tar.gz from
http://servicemix.apache.org/download.html
(*2) svn co
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/smx3/branches/servicemix-3.2
(*3) svn co http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/smx3/trunk

I thought;
3.2.1 is newest stable version, but functions are a little old.
3.3-SNAPSHOT is for next major stable version.

Why source tree of servicemix-3.2 branch is still updated ?
(What's for 3.2.2-SNAPSHOT ?)
