[Issue 127033] New: Exception in svxcore.dll loading MS pptx
presentation
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127033
Issue ID: 127033
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Exception in svxcore.dll loading MS pptx presentation
Product: Impress
Version: 4.1.2
Hardware: All
OS: OS/2
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 (lowest)
Component: open-import
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: steve53@earthlink.net
Created attachment 85601

Exceptq report for ppt load
Impress traps during initial load of Project_ Kickoff_Security Remediation
OS2.ppt. An exceptq report is attached.
The excpetq report implies that a FP exception is not masked.
Converting the .ppt to an .odp on Linux is not sufficient to workaround the
issue. The .odp load fails in much the same way.

Steve, how did you open this document?
I started Impress and did a File | Open under both openSUSE Leap 42.1 x64
running AOO 4.1.1 and OS/2 running AOO 4.1.2, and got no trap. The document
opened fine on both platforms, and I was able to Save As odp. The resulting odp
opens fine, as well (on both platforms).

The 4.1.11 build seems to have resolved this issue.
