[jira] Resolved: (VELOCITY-129) #parse randomly quits working in 1.3.1. rc 2

Will Glass-Husain resolved VELOCITY-129:
----------------------------------------

    Resolution: Cannot Reproduce
     Assign To: (was: Velocity-Dev List)

Hi,

Given that this is such an old bug and no one else has reported it, we're going to resolve it. If you still see this problem, please report it to the velocity-user list (and reopen this bug, now on the new JIRA system) if it seems appropriate.

Thanks.

> For no apparent reason, sometimes #parse reports "Error Parsing Document" when
> there is indeed no error. Each file parses fine by itself and when I create a
> simple #parse(filename), it randomly quits working. It works fine for days,
> but just stops. Often it doesn't work when initially starting the server. It
> is the strangest thing. The velocity engine is still working with all other
> content and scripting, but the parse and include fail. The proper home
> directory is set and it will work for days at a time. I noticed this issue
> when upgrading to 1.3.1 rc2 . I downgraded to 1.2 and haven't seen the prolem
> since then.
