Data Source: Error reteiving attriubte! What does this mean?
Help!!! I am trying to deploy a framework(acutally get the sample
running) from a JSP book that teaches the MVC paradigm. I followed the
walk-through to the T but am having some trouble with modifying the
server.xml and getting the Controller servlet functioning correctly. I
am modifying the F:\Tomcat 4.1\conf\server.xml and have added the code
below. After I make the modification and restart the web server I go
into the admin site and find my recently added Context and look at its
datasources. I see that it has registered jdbc/Catalog as a DS and I
assume that it learned that from the change I made to the server.xml.
When I click on the JNDI name I get the error message:HTTP Status 500 -
Error retrieving attribute url
Does this ring a bell with anyone????????????
