Yeah, right. However, I decided to try a vote one last time, as the last
vote on this channel was some time ago.

We need to release the Fulcrum Parent POM 2 before this can happen. The
release and site publication modifications are mandatory for new Fulcrum
releases, too. Fulcrum-intake is another component that sits there waiting.
Bye, Thomas.

My vote is [x] +1 release it, although non-binding. And I would
recommend lazy consensus as voting mechansim at least for the parents,
as it was already asked for sometimes earlier here.
BTW I would "vote" for releasing fulcrum-parser (version 1.0.3-snapshot)
too, containing a bugfix. The Turbine 4.0-M2 trunk could then use it as
dependency with very minor more changes ...
Best regards, Georg

fulcrum-json component
Posted by Georg Kallidis <ge...@cedis.fu-berlin.de>.
Hi,
I have prepared a fulcrum-based component which generates (serializes)
JSON and vice versa. It is divided up to now into an API-component, a
GSON, Jackson 1.9 and Jackson 2.1 component.
I am currently using the Jackson 2 component (serialization method using
filters) within a velocity template. As I have more and more
javascript-"polluted" templates I find using this useful to keep things
cleaned up. E.g. generating the data objects using JSON and not velocity
makes the template code much more readable.
It its tested, but may contain bugs and other missings of course, and it
is not yet documented. For the documentation I ll look into another
fulcrum component, eg. localization.
What else is useful to know?
As a committer, I would deploy it soon into the fulcrum trunk, if it
okay.
Thanks, and best regards, Georg

I don't believe that I use the parent, but I trust Thomas Vandahl
