Velocity & JavaScript?

can I use Velocity Template Language and JavaScript in the same template
file?

VTL syntax does not clash with JS syntax, so you can use Velocity to
generate
HTML pages that contain JavaScript.

If you are wondering if you can use JavaScript instead of VTL for
driving
template generation, the answer is *no*.
