Pagelifetime

Hi!

Is there a diagram or similar available which describes the lifecycle 
process of calls to pages?

I would like to open a hibernate pojo in the beginPageRender() method 
and close the session in the endPageRender() method.

But i've seen that the endPageRender() is not called all the times.
Any hint or best practice for this issue?
