[jira] Created: (MINVOKER-86) Install mojo should have a quiet mode.

Install mojo should have a quiet mode.
--------------------------------------

                 Key: MINVOKER-86
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MINVOKER-86
             Project: Maven 2.x Invoker Plugin
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Paul Gier
            Priority: Minor

Currently the install mojo prints out an info level message for each artifact that is installed to the local test repository. This can cause a lot of command line output when there are a lot of dependencies in the project. There should be an option to suppress this output or at least redirect it to a file.

Benjamin Bentmann commented on MINVOKER-86:
-------------------------------------------

I'm -1 on duplicating more core code just for the sake of polishing the log output. Trying to do so would increase the maintenance and endangers the stability/interoperability of this plugin with the rest of Maven.

Paul Gier commented on MINVOKER-86:
-----------------------------------

So to reduce the logs, the invoker plugin needs it's own installer component instead of using the shared ArtifactInstaller? Should a new jira issue be created to replace the artifact installer?
