Crawling questions

Hello, 
I am a new user and have a few questions.
Are single quoted links crawled? (e.g. href='a.htm')
I realized javascript links are not crawled but if I were to change the
nutch code to allow custom crawling of javascript links of a particular
type, where would be the code that i would need to change?
