[jira] [Commented] (NETBEANS-1262) [Show Opened Documents List] Add shortcut and searchfield into the popup

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-1262?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16618762#comment-16618762 ]

Christian Lenz commented on NETBEANS-1262:
------------------------------------------

"Show openend document list" popup, on the right upper corner, of the editor, is only usable via mouse to open it, then you can navigate with your keyboard but w/o searching. So it is not really keyboard user friendly. So first we need an Action to make create a shortcut, to open it and set the focus to navigate with the arrow keys (One sub task). The other one is an input field for filtering the list to find what you were typing (Second sub task).

> I know the documents functionality ctrl + tab or shift + F4 to see open documents and jump to it and so on, but I don't need the other options inside this window. NetBeans has the triangle inside the right upper corner and if it would has a shortcut to open it and a search field to filter the list, that would be great.
> I would prefer the functionality as you have it here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/quick-tabs/jnjfeinjfmenlddahdjdmgpbokiacbbb?hl=de
> quick tabs will open a list, via shortcut, with all open tabs and a search field so if you type MC they will find MainCtrl.js, for example and you can jump to it. No overlay over the IDE, only a "drop down with not so much options.".
