[jira] [Created] (CTAKES-20) DrugNER to use existing RxNorm
mentions rather than perform it's own lookup
Pei Chen created CTAKES-20:
------------------------------
Summary: DrugNER to use existing RxNorm mentions rather than perform it's own lookup
Key: CTAKES-20
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CTAKES-20
Project: cTAKES
Issue Type: Bug
Components: ctakes-drug-ner
Affects Versions: 2.6-incubating
Reporter: Pei Chen
Currently, the DrugNER component maintains it's own drug index and performs it's own lookup. It would be nice to just iterate through the existing DrugEventMentions that has been found from the existing dictionary lookup and add the signatures to that instead of it's own.
