NoClassDefFoundError on XMLParser

I keep getting runtime errors with NoClassDefFoundError for the
XMLParser. We don't directly instantiate or use the XMLParser, but we do
use the DOMParser, which extends it. I do have the 2.3.0 Xerces jars
files (3 of them) in my classpath, and I don't have any compilation
errors, so I am drawing a blank. Does it matter what order the jar files
are in the classpath? Any ideas? Thanks, Wendi
