[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-15179) Release wizard should have the option to source Apache credentials and signing key passphrase from local file vs. prompting the user

Jan Høydahl commented on SOLR-15179:
------------------------------------

Makes sense. Perhaps. GPG passphrase should really not be written down in clear-text for security reasons...

Could we perhaps use [https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E86824_01/html/E54763/gpg-preset-passphrase-1.html] ?

> It would be a nice improvement for the release wizard to source Apache credentials and the signing key passphrase from a local file, say `~/.lucene-release-wizard-input` or similar.
> This should be optional but use it instead of prompting the release manager for these credentials multiple times. The wizard should add a reminder step at the beginning to create this file and at end of the process to delete this file.
