[jira] [Created] (BEANUTILS-395) BeanUtilsBean.setProperty() skips
properties without any kind of warning
BeanUtilsBean.setProperty() skips properties without any kind of warning
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: BEANUTILS-395
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEANUTILS-395
Project: Commons BeanUtils
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Bean / Property Utils
Affects Versions: 1.8.3
Environment: Java/Linux
Reporter: Wim van Ravesteijn (Topicus Zorg)
The BeanUtilsBean.setProperty() method returns without any warning when a property is not found, while it issues a log message in most other cases (for example a read-only property). Properties just don't get set, while you expect them to be set.
