RE: Request to provide UK acdemic mirror of http://xml.apache.org

I am the person that updates the mirrors list on apache.org, I do not have a
problem with this at all. Any comments Ask ?

Dear Sir or Madam

I am writing to ask permission to provide a UK based mirror of
http://xml.apache.org . The UK Mirror Service - http://www.mirror.ac.uk and
ftp://ftp.mirror.ac.uk - is a government funded service, provided for the
benefit of users within further and higher education, though available
without
restriction or authentication. We already mirror ftp.apache.org and our
service
is very well used throughout the UK community and all sites are updated at
least once every 24 hours, with some updated as frequently as every six
hours.

If you have any questions about the service or our mirroring, I would be
happy
to answer them, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes
Claire Moore
