Commons Validator without using a bundle file

Is it possible to do that ?

I mean , I would like to use <sh:commonsValidator
                        type="floatRange"
                         min="10"
                         max="1000"
                         arg="My message in here"
                         server="false"
                      client="true"/>   

in a textfield but I receive a error trace :

Can't find bundle for base name messages ...
