Might be related to ZOOKEEPER-3064 but not sure why that is marked as minor when this fails to build entirely.
Is there a quick fix / workaround?
I'd guess this is environment / library related since it compiles ok on CentOS 7?

> ZooKeeper fails to compile on Fedora 29 (compiles ok on CentOS 7 though). I cannot build the project to get the zkperl dependencies to run on Fedora as it is. This happens on various versions of ZooKeeper 3.4.x
