Serializer question

Hi,

I have a little (stupid???) question:

What does the html-serializer in the hello world example do?

The Transformer transforms my xml file to html. why do I need the 
html-serializer?

Hi,

transformer can only transform to xhtml, not to html.
And, because of that, we need serializer to remove / from <br/>
and other tags.
