Re: Réf. : Re: Why we need to restart the Red5 serv er after a new install ?

I can load a video file but when I drag it onto the whiteboard, all I see
is an image
that reads "Image deleted"
I suspect the ffmpeg conversion is not being carried out successfully.

Problem with the today meetings panel !

Posted by Hamdi THABET <ha...@gmail.com>.
The problem = when I create a meeting for 19-04-2012 or 20-04-2012 for
example, it figure in the today meetings panel (today = 18-04-2012).
Normally the meeting of 19-04-2012 will be displayed tomorrow ...

I tried the MP4 format and the AVI one => successfully imported to the white
board

But only if you drag it from the file explorer to the white board manually,
it is not imported automatically !
Also the CLOSE button is not displayed well and sizes values = 0 !

Hi Hamdi,

you can configure how many minutes the reminder is send before meetings in
Administration > Configuration with the config key: number.minutes.reminder
send

Default is 15 minutes. As far as I remember 15 minutes is also the time the
invitation-link that is send by email is valid before a meeting will start.

When we set a reminder for a new meeting, what's the logic of its send time
? I mean how can we configure it for example to send only one reminder email
before 24 hours of the meeting time or before 1 hour for urgent meeting ?

It can be added as a configurable parameter in the meeting creation
interface ?

Yes,

sounds good. However we might discuss it a bit more.

How do you intend to generate the PDF? If you are going to propose to use a
library here you have to keep in mind that it should be compatible to
Apache License, otherwise we can't include it in our releases.

Idea for OM 3.0

Posted by Hamdi THABET <ha...@gmail.com>.
We can add the role of "Reporter" in the meeting context (or merge it with
moderator role). For example a moderator have the privilege of designating a
participant as a reporter for the meeting and this reporter has the
possibility to generate at the end of the meeting a report automatically
(with label in the menu) in PDF file for example.

This report will contain: Name of the meeting + start and end time + date +
list of participants + moderator(s) name(s) + chat log + names of
transferred files on the white board.

I think that reporting is very important in every professional meeting.
Is it a good idea to work on it ?

I tried an avi and a wmv file and both displayed the same "image deleted"
window.
I looked at the openmeetings log files and couldn't see any relevant
message.
