[users@httpd] mod_mem_cache performance

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has seen significative performance improvements
with mod_mem_cache.

I've tried to benchmark it and most of the time it's taking a couple more
millisecs than a static page does. Does it go all the way to making a
fstat(), adding its overhead thereby losing the "memory only" advantage ?

If anyone can give an example of a config where improvements have been
vastly demonstrated...

Thanks,

ECB
