[jira] Created: (WSCOMMONS-238) MTOM elements are included as strings in the SOAP using rampart

MTOM elements are included as strings in the SOAP using rampart
---------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: WSCOMMONS-238
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WSCOMMONS-238
             Project: WS-Commons
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: AXIOM
         Environment: Windows XP SP2, Tomcat 6, jdk 1.6.0, axis2 1.3
            Reporter: Jorge Fernández
            Priority: Blocker

When using Rampart, MTOM elements are included as strings in the SOAP message instead of sending them outside the message as MIME parts, even if I don't do any operation with them (not signature, nor encryption), but these MIME parts appear empty in the HTTP message.

Downgrading to critical. Seems like a Rampart-driven issue not specific to AXIOM itself.

Jorge,

Would it be possible for you to provide some sample code that reproduces this issue?
