[jira] [Commented] (JCLOUDS-106) Modernize CloudStack instance credentials code

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCLOUDS-106?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13672692#comment-13672692 ]

Andrew Bayer commented on JCLOUDS-106:
--------------------------------------

Work in progress is up at https://github.com/abayer/jclouds-1/tree/jclouds-106, fyi. I haven't actually changed the existing behavior, but I've added a bunch of support classes a la the nova implementations for keypair/security group creation/reuse (along with tests!) and next up is modifying CloudStackComputeServiceAdapter accordingly.

> See JCLOUDS-105 for a symptom caused by this - the CloudStack login code is rather archaic. It still expects the largely deprecated credentials store to be populated and the like. It should really get modernized to be like, say, openstack-nova.
