Sybase Anywhere 9.0 and comments

My question concerns the generated schemas with Sybase Anywhere.  Using 
the bookstore
example, I get  a generated schema bookstore-schema.sql with embedded 
comments
denoting each table.  When I kick off  the "insert-sql" Ant task it 
appears to work, but reports
error messages because of the comments.  Why  is it generating these 
comments if they are not
compatible with Sybase?  Is there a way to turn this feature off?
