Jason Huynh resolved GEODE-338.

    Resolution: Fixed

The attached test only reproduces the issue in earlier jvms (1.6).  The new jvm no longer appears to be affected by the original fd soft leak. 

Created GEODE-679 to explore removing the code that worked around the original issue
