Does this work in a cluster ?

To clarify that question a little.....

If the http requests hitting the cluster don't have sticky state will all requests generate the same set of results for data just changed, or will that depend on which instances the requests hit ? 

Ie the servers in the cluster now have transient conversational state while the changes in the in-memory index are hard committed to the existing async lucene index and propagate to all instances in the cluster.
