db restarts

Hello,

Database restarts cause my torque application to hang up.
Is there a way to automatically reconnect/reinitialize
torque after a database restart?
(besides restarting the whole application)

What needs to be implemented to get this functionality?

Right now I use:
torque.dsfactory.myapp.factory=org.apache.torque.dsfactory.SharedPoolDataSou
rceFactory

Maybe some other factory supports automatic db reconnects?
