Ted Yu commented on HBASE-7777:
-------------------------------

With the patch, I got:
{code}
  testQuarantineCorruptHFile(org.apache.hadoop.hbase.util.TestHBaseFsck): org.apache.hadoop.hbase.TableNotEnabledException: testQuarantineCorruptHFile
  testSplitDaughtersNotInMeta(org.apache.hadoop.hbase.util.TestHBaseFsck): Split daughter region testSplitdaughtersNotInMeta,B,1360297140329.45e7110974671eab56e96c25700db737. cannot be found in META.
{code}
The tests pass without patch.

> HBCK checks for split parent regions being in meta and hdfs, and reports this as a transient error.
> However, split parents, by design, linger around for some time, until its children stops referring to it.
> Instead we should check whether the children are there, and do not report anything if it is so.
