PSML files

Hi again!

I got a question regarding the PSML files.
I use the current CVS and it seems like my changes on the PSML files are
ignored. If I put my portlet in there it produces no changes on the page.
Only by selecting my portlet in the customizer puts it on my homepage.

What's wrong?

Thanks for answering!

Ciao,
Stefan

the latest cvs head has been switched over to a newer profiling service
which has a new psml directory structure:

psml
  |
  +- anon
  | |
  | html
  | |
  | + default.psml // here is your default.psml
  |
  +- user
  | |
  | +- turbine
  | |
  | + html
  | |
  | + default.psml
  | |
  | + news.psml
  |
  +- group
  | |
  | +- apache
  | |
  | + default.psml
  | |
  | + news.psml
  +- role
...

You can enable/disable the new profiler in the JR.p: (setting it the false
uses the old directory structure)

services.profiler.enable=true/false

Read the proposal for more complete information in the cvs under
proposals/0005.txt

In other words:
I want to change the arrangement of the portlets for a user. So I edited the
PSML file in the directory with his name, e.g. Turbine. But these changes
don't change the arrangement on the web page.

Now I don't understand your question. What do you mean with Profiler?
Did I miss something important there?

Ciao

I'm not sure I understand your question, can you describe what you're trying to
do exactly and what fails ?

If you issue is that when you modify PSML files on disk, they are not updated on disk
can you precise which Profiler you're using ?

Stefan,
Have you eliminated the possibility that your browser is caching the page?
Or possibly, is Jetspeed/Turbine caching the PSML file? Have you tried
cycling Tomcat to see if your changes then appear?
