Hi,
Must I download the source release for SUSE or there is a binary release for
SUSE?

Have you checked the repositories you get other packages from via YaST
or whatever the package manager du jour is in SuSE?

As noted in a previous posting, go to http://software.opensuse.org/search
and enter the word "subversion". You will also be able to select the
version of SUSE that you are using to find the appropriate packages.
