1.7 included the following patch to prevent Drillbits binding to the loopback address: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-4523

"Drillbit is disallowed to bind to loopback address in distributed mode."

It would be better if this was configurable rather than rely on /etc/hosts, since it's common for the hostname to resolve to loopback.
Would you accept a patch that adds this option to drill.override.conf?
