[jira] Updated: (GERONIMO-4345) jar-file in persistence.xml overwrites toplink.ddl-generation

Matthias Berndt updated GERONIMO-4345:
--------------------------------------

    Priority: Minor (was: Critical)

I wasn't aware of the OpenJPA property {{openjpa.jdbc.SynchronizeMappings}} which prevents OpenJPA from schema modifications.

I do not close this entry because I think behavior shouldn't change using {{<jar-file>}}.

> If an addtional jar with entities is specified in the persistence.xml with {{<jar-file>}}, the {{<property name="toplink.ddl-generation" value="none"/>}} is overwritten or ignored an OpenJPA tries to create tables in the database.
