SMPP type connection.

Hello,

I have to connect to SMS center with "transceiver" connection type.
I've supposed that "systemType" parameter is exactly responsible for that,
but my SMS provider told me that this parameter must not be set at all.

For now, how i should properly configure camel-smpp plugin for
transmitter/receiver/transceiver roles?

You should be able to configure log4j in a way that this class logs into a
different file. May this helps?

Best,
Christian

Hi All,

I am using amq+camel+smpp for working with SMSC. I used SMPP as camel
coponent and use these endpoints in routes. I want to monitor on SMPP
connection bind, logs every SMSC bind and unbind in separate file than
activemq.log.

Kindly guide me in approaching the mentioned event scenario.

Hello Pavel!

Sorry for the late reply.

Why you have to use the "transceiver" type?

The systemType is used to categorize the type of ESME (External Short
Message Entity) that is binding to the SMSC, as described in the wiki here
[1]. You are looking for the bindType, which is set automatically by Camel
itself. If you use the SmppConsomer (from("smpp://...")), Camel will create
a session with the "receiver" bindType. If you use the SmppProducer
(to("smpp://...")), Camel will create a session with the "transmitter"
bindType. The "transceiver" bindType is currently not supported and I think
we don't need it.

Regards,
Christian

We haven't time to analyze jsmpp library. We switch connection to
transmitter/receiver mode. Thank you.

Hi,

camel-smpp is using the jsmpp[1] to talk to SMS center.
Can you try to use it to set the connection type, then we can put this
option into camel-smpp.
