[jira] [Commented] (NIFI-8268) FreeFormTextRecordSetWriter doesn't expose the Schema Access properties

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-8268?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17293908#comment-17293908 ]

Matt Burgess commented on NIFI-8268:

I'm going to update that PR to just remove the parent class that brings in all the schema-related properties. They don't make sense for a free-form text format because at some point to use the schema to read the text, it'd have to be in a standard format such as CSV, so you can just use the CSVRecordSetWriter in that case.

> I found (via NIFI-8266) that the parent properties (Schema Access Strategy, e.g.) for FreeFormTextRecordSetWriter aren't inherited and are thus not exposed. Cases like NIFI-3912 addressed the issue in a different way, but the properties should just be inherited, since the defaults are what are currently being used under the hood.
