[jira] [Commented] (TAMAYA-23) Use Log4J2 instead of java.util.logging

Anatole Tresch commented on TAMAYA-23:
--------------------------------------

But we wanted to keep deps at an absolute minimum, especially to also support ME environments easily... so JUL, though definitivily not the best logging framework in the world matches this requirement best... WDYT?

> Use Log4J2 instead of java.util.logging

> Since Log4J 2 offers major improvements over both its predecessors and most other logging frameworks, Tamaya Core should ideally use it instead of java.util.logging.
