[jira] [Commented] (FINERACT-1429) FD Interest Transfer Job not working properly on a backdated account

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FINERACT-1429?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17439024#comment-17439024 ]

Manoj Mohanan commented on FINERACT-1429:
-----------------------------------------

The issue is due to interest recalculation during the backdated transfer operation. When interest posting is set to period end, the transfer also falls within the period. After transfer the calculated interest is going wrong. Which leads to an unnecessary reversal.

The proposed solution is to move transfer transaction out of the period by pushing it to t+1. This feature can be controlled by a global configuration.
