DOM memory leak status

Hi,

I am using DOMPrint version  1.7 for unix to test for memory leak problem.
I observe some memory leaks after running the DOMPrint with the xml files that I
created. ( it starts leaking after running for a few hours).
I know there are at least 2 bug reports on the memory leak problem.

What is the status of this?  My application is using the DOMParser and it also leak
a significant amount of memory, I want to know if this problem is going
to be solve soon.
