DO NOT REPLY [Bug 48909] New: This concerns the operation of apache 2.2.14

https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=48909

Summary: This concerns the operation of apache 2.2.14
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.2.14
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://www.roscoe-of-enfield.co.uk
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_ssl
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: rofeco@btconnect.com

I have installed a copy of this program, it acts as an http server fine, shows
the website OK. However attempting to do an ftp transfer the server cannot be
found. Using a 'test your ftp server' from the web, the report is: 'server
found, response incorrect' - the connection is dropped. Which routine should
be patched to correct this ?, do you have a patch list you could email to me ?.
Also the httpd file in config has a list of 'load module' directives, changing
all to no hash caused a start error, this was traced to 'load module ssl_module
modules/mod_ssl.so' causing the error. Checking the module folder, no .so
routine is present, therefor no 'secure sockets layer' can be implemented. Not
currently required.
Please advise.
Regards,
Alan W. Roscoe MIET (Roscoe of Enfield Ltd.) 86, Kenilworth Crescent, Enfield,
Middlesex, UK. email: rofeco@btconnect.com (prefered)
tele: 0044 208 363 7069 + TAM.

This bugzilla is for reporting suspected bugs in Apache HTTP Server, not a
support forum for questions, configuration assistance, support, or systems
analysis.

Perhaps someone on the Apache HTTP Server users list can help you determine
what's going on with your system, and if this due diligence points to an Apache
HTTP Server bug, reopen this ticket with a rigorous description that
illustrates (via verbatim error messages, configurations, logs, packet
captures, etc) the misbehavior in Apache HTTP Server.
