[jira] Commented: (STDCXX-871) document rw_printf() directives
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STDCXX-871?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12596177#action_12596177 ]
Eric Lemings commented on STDCXX-871:
-------------------------------------
All formatting directives that have counterparts in C89 behave according to that standard I'm assuming? Are there any deviations and/or implementation-defined behavior that need be documented? I'll assume not and skip those directives for now at least.

> The {{rw_printf()}} family of functions (declared in the [{{<rw_printf.h>}}|http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/stdcxx/trunk/tests/include/rw_printf.h] header) extend the similar C99 functions by a number of formatting directives for various C++ types. Only a few of these are documented, making the functions hard to use. Documentation for the remaining directives needs to be added.
