[~jieyu], it occurs to me that we may want to use this {{principal}} field for authorization of external volumes as well (and in the future, creation/modification operations on other external resource types as well). It's possible that we will reuse {{DiskInfo}} for the purposes of external volumes, in which case it would be nice to have a principal field there rather than reproducing the field in both {{Resource.DiskInfo.Persistence}} and another location. There will also be external resources without {{DiskInfo}}, so in that case it might make sense to add the {{principal}} field directly to {{Resource}}. Thoughts?
