setDefaultSMRClass

I just noticed that in Apache SOPA 2.1 there is a methode "setDefaultSMRClass" in the DelpoymentDescriptor. Can anyone tell me...

1. How I use this in the dd.xml-file?

2. Wether there is a similar way to do this on the client-side? (I'm using java-beans and it seem kinda anoying having to add them all to the SMR to tell SOAP to use the BeanSerialiser.) So I'm wondering if there is a default I can use!?
